St Paul Street Project

As a crucial thoroughfare intersecting Main Street, St. Paul has undergone significant evolution. Positioned centrally downtown, it now marks the western boundary of the newly revamped City Hall Park. Progress extends to its southern end, where the completion of Eagles Landing, Champlain College’s student housing project, is eagerly awaited. Meanwhile, developments at the northern end, including the inauguration of CCTA’s cutting-edge Downtown Transportation Center, further underscore the area’s transformation.

Notably, the completion of the St. Paul Street Project, reconnecting St. Paul Street through Burlington Town Center, has reinstated a seamless thoroughfare traversing downtown.

Guided by the principles of walkability, transit access-
ibility, and green infrastructure, the Great Streets initiative continues to shape the St. Paul corridor, fostering a vibrant and interconnected urban landscape from Main to Maple.
