Main Street Project Update, February 7, 2025

Construction Update

Sewer main construction on Main St. between Church St. and
S. Winooski will continue.

Work on underground utilities within the Main/S. Winooski intersection will continue throughout the month of February.

Water main replacement and temporary water main work will continue through February.

Traffic Update

Which streets are closed?

Main St is closed from Church St through the S. Winooski Ave intersection
(anticipated through Feb. 2025)

Intersection of Main/Church will experience a brief closure as early as 2/11.

Travel along Main St: St Paul to Church will be restricted for a few weeks beginning as early as 2/17.

Timeframes for closures are subject to change. Updates will be provided as frequently as possible.

Where can I park?

On street parking is available except where a meter bag or ‘No Parking’ sign is present.

Available Lots/Garages:
Courthouse Plaza Garage, S. Winooski Ave entrance, city rates ($1.50/hr)

Parking restrictions:
Public lot located at the northeast corner of Main St and
S. Winooski Ave

On-street parking along Main St: Church – S. Winooski Ave.

On-street parking along S. Union and College St.

Main: St Paul – Church northern parking lane/sidewalk closure
