Construction Update
Paving within the work zone along Church Street between Maple and King Streets is scheduled for next week.
Sewer work within the intersection of King and
Church Street continues.
Sewer work on King Street east of the intersection is underway.
Please see the parking and traffic sections below for more information on impacts.
In observance of the Memorial Day holiday the contractor will not be working on Monday, 5/27. Work will resume on Tuesday, 5/28 at 7:00 a.m.
Traffic Update
The intersection of King Street/Church Street is closed.
King Street is closed between Church St. and S. Winooski Ave.
Pedestrian traffic will be maintained around work zones. Follow designated pedestrian signage.
Parking Update
Additional public parking is available at the Courthouse Plaza garage
Parking at the Courthouse Plaza Garage (South Winooski Ave. entrance only) continues to be available at the City rate of $1.50/hour and space is still highly available.
City rates are only available on the level that is accessed from the South Winooski Ave. entrance.
Public parking on the surface level (access from Church Street) is available nights/weekends and is managed by Unified Parking Partners and follows
their rate structure.
Parking along Main Street between Church and South Winooski will be restricted during tree removal operations for one morning early next week.
Parking directly in and adjacent to work zones will be impacted.
Please follow signage for access to local businesses and alternate business parking.

A DPW Water Resources contractor has begun work to replace an old sewer line on Pine between Bank and College Streets.
This work will protect against unplanned, emergency repairs, fortify downtown infrastructure and add additional capacity to the system. The project will last up to 1 month. There may be occasional closures, one-way traffic or delays. Service impacts are not expected.
